Graduation is right around the corner!!

Wow!! I can't believe that I'm about to become a high school GRADUATE!

Honestly, where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday I was sitting on my old poarch with some of my friends wishing that we were seniors and how we couldn't wait to be grown up and get on with life. How we promised that we would always be "Friends Forever". But time changes us all. I moved and made new friends, and out of all of the friends I have had throughout my life there are two that have stuck by my side through thick and thin.. Brittney Skop and Ashley Curl. So much for all of my "Friends Forever". But after dealing with me for a long time, I'm proud to say that Yes, I will have two "Friends Forever" and I'm sure they are the only friends that I will need for a long time. I don't see how so many years can fly by. I blinked and Hey look, you are graduating in 7 days.

Lately, I've been wishing I could go back and relive my past, not to correct anything, but just to expierience it again. So.. I've been listening to a shuffle of music from different years that meant something to me. Today I was listening to a 2000 Shuffle, and the song Graduation by Vitaman C came on. I was listening to the words and it all fit perfectly. "Keep on thinking things will always be the same, keep on thinking things will always be the same, and when we leave this year we wont be coming back" It feels likes life has just flown by and I can't controll the speed. It seems like each year gets shorter and shorter. Next thing I know I'll blink and I'll be done with college and have a family. It's so wierd.

I remember most of my childhood, and for the longest time I only looked at the negative parts of it. But now I realize that it was a pretty good childhood that took me and molded me to become the person I have become today. So now it's time to spread my wings and soar onto great things.

Splish Splash

Well, the last two days I was in Sevierville with my best friend Ashley and her little sister Tinity and her best friend Camilla at the WILDERNESS IN THE SMOKIES, hotel and water resort! It was so much fun! The whole entire time we were there we had a blast. We rode the slides over ten times all together and we were all scared to go backwards down it too! Yesterday in the wave pool Trinity got her earing pulled out. :( she was so sad and scared. So we went and bought her a new pair of earing, and all of us bought a pair too. I put Trinity's new earings in, and they are adorable. Me and Ashley both got daisy earings, hers are multi-colored though.
Although it was a blast, somehow I ended up getting sick. I am now stuck with the wost sore throat I have had in a long time. I have a horrible immune system. And on top of the horribly sore throat, my whole entire body aches, but luckily there is no fever.

What does it mean to be "beautiful"?

This month for me has been all about beauty and learning to accept the beauty within me that God created. Every time I walk past a mirror, I think "I'm Beautiful". Well, most if the time except this morning, I looked in the mirror and was like "Ew, I look gross". But it takes time to accept who you really are in God's eyes.God made everything, so therefore everything he made is Beautiful!
GOD MADE YOU SO THEREFORE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
Learn it and believe it! Yeah, it may be hard to especially with the way our society is, but true beauty lies within the heart. I know that I am beautiful and at times it's really hard to believe. But take that little bit of knowledge and apply it to your life. Find a way to remind yourself that you are beautiful.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. You don't need to be 100 lbs to be beautiful
2. You don't need make up to be beautiful
3. You don't need a guy to be beautiful (being single is fun too)
4. If you're around friends who put you down about the way you look THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!
5. Trust in God when feeling down. He is your best friend and will listen to everything and never complain!
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" 1 Samuel 16:7

Adventure at last!!

Well... It's been a while since I've written. Life has been pretty crazy and full of adventure! Spring is coming and there has been a lot of activities going on. I went hiking with my family and it was so much fun. I love being able to go out and just enjoy nature. It's my favorie part about the spring and summer.

I miss my best friend Ashley a lot! I haven't seen her in a while but next week Ash and I are going to this awesome hotel water park to have some girl time! Its going to be the best part of my whole entire spring break! Ash is probably the best friend that I could ever ever have. She is always there for me and treats me like I'm worth something unlike other people who are supposidly "friends".

Ashley, you know I'm always here for you :)

Let's do this thing...

Hey all, Well first off let me intoduce myself. My name is Lexi Wachter and I'm a senior in high school. I decided to start blogging because well... I gave up Facebook for lent. I started feeling the need to get on and just let myself tell the world about everything. So my best friend Ashley Curl suggessted blogging.
So here I am, and ready to go.
A little bit of back ground info about me. I was born in Olean, New York. IT IS NOTHING LIKE NEW YORK CITY! Moved to West Seneca, New York when I was two. Then I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and have been here since I was 13. When I was 14, my freshman year, I was diagnosed with a tumor which the doctors thought was a malignant tumor and told me I was going to die within two years. This changed my life completely. Later that month, they figured out it was jsut a psudo tumor, and I wasn't going to die, but knowing that life is short I began to savor every part of my life.

I am now 17, and I am loving every minuite of my life. I love to go to church, hang out with my friends, and family. I go to Cokesbury United Methodist Church and I absolutly love it there. I love to spend time with my family, we do some pretty crazy things some times. This sunday after church we are supposed to go hiking, and its going to be a blast. My best friends include Brittney Skop, Ashley Curl and Kelly Hughes. They pretty much complete me.
